St Oliver’s Pilgrim walk is success

LARGE numbers took part in the annual St Oliver Plunkett ‘Camino’ last Friday and Saturday, with many coming from outside the town to be part of the unique event.

Organised by the Knights of St. Columbanus it involved a pilgrim walk around Drogheda’s seven beautiful churches (3.2Km). , starting at Our Lady of Lourdes Church via, St. Peter’s Church of Ireland, Augustinian Church, St. Mary’s, Holy Family Church, St. Mary Magdalene’s Dominican Church and finishing at St. Peter’s Church.

A souvenir passport, with points of information, was handed out along with a certificate of completion at the end.
