SMITHSTOWN DINER AS GOOD AS EVER

-

I HAVE to give a mention to the Smithstown Cafe on the Julianstown Road.

I popped into the place recently and it’s as good as ever.

It is one place with an ‘old world charm’ of sorts, a diner style that would probably be best suited in the States.

But it’s great we have one locally and when it comes to parking - no problem.

The cafe has been there for years in various guises, but I wonder who opened it originally and how long has it been on the go.

?? ?? I MADE mention of a row of disused houses at Hardman’s Gardens recently and wondered could they be redeveloped to bring them back onto the property market? Well, now I see that they are on the market with O’Brien Collins, five of them, on 1.5 acres....
