Bid to bring Village Hotel back to life

AN application to bring the former Village Hotel on the Eastham Road in Bettystown back to life has stalled after the council deemed the application incomplete. They cited an issue with the site notice.

The plan is to develop two first floor extensions to the front of the disused building.

They also plan to remodel the front of the hotel to include new entrance porch to the hotel and restaurant plus a new vehicular entrance from the Old Eastham Road and closure of existing entrance from the Village Road.
