‘Charlie’s a clepto’

CLARE Monnelly’s new comic drama “Charlie’s a Clepto” is sure to be a hit with theatre lovers when it appears in Droichead Arts Centre on Thursday, 1st June.

The play follows Charlie, the queen of self-sabotage, as she desperately tries to get her life back on the rails so that she can bring up her son. In every situation though there is humour and Charlie’s razor wit is never far from the surface. She has “a bit of a mouth on her” and that as much as anything gets her into trouble with the courts too many times, but this time she can’t afford to mess up. Clare Monnelly’s play presents us with a character who is vulnerable, lovable, infuriating and very funny in equal measures.

Booking is available at www.droichead.con or tel 041 9833946
