St Oliver’s 5km mini marathon takes place in school grounds

ST Oliver’s Community College’s 3rd annual girls mini marathon took place on Friday, May 19th in the grounds of the school.

The event was a huge success and the afternoon was filled with pink balloons, pink outfits, music, sunshine and exercise.

This year a total of 301 female students and female teachers took part in the charity event running/walking 5km each around our schools perimeter.

The event is run as part of St Oliver’s active schools week and is an initiative which the school has introduced to increase female participation in extra curricular activity for the purposes of fun and enjoyment.

A wonderful afternoon was had by all involved well done girls.
