Starting at Mell, they will swim a 2.7km route, past the festival goers at Drogheda Port, and under the Viaduct to reach the Boyne Fisherman’s Rescue. Expect the first swimmers across the line in about 33 minutes with the average swimmer taking 44 minutes. They’ve been training hard all winter. Come out and cheer them on as they brave the Boyne.
