]Hard luck to the Cuchulainn Gaels / Cooley U14 team who lost their home game against O Raghaillaighs 3-6 to 4-11.

The U-12s had a great day out at the Newry Mitchell’s tournament. We were in a group with teams from Kildare, Dublin, Derry and Newry Shamrocks.

We lost the first game against a very strong Kildare team by four points but it was a tight game. Next up was the Shamrocks and after a hard physical game the teams couldn’t be separated ending up in a draw. Next game was against the Dublin team, who prevailed by two points. We were up by a point at half time and it could have gone either way in the end. Finally the last game of the day we won very convincingly. Well done to a spirited young Cuchulainn Gaels team and all the coaches.

Next week they will take part in a big blitz in Cooley once again playing against teams from all over the country.
