Mosney North East Car Show on June 11
Probably the best Classic and Vintage Car Show in Ireland takes place on Sunday June 11th 2017 at Mosney, County Meath from noon to 6pm.
The North East Vintage and Classic Car show is always a big hit and features cars for sale, autojumble, musical entertainment, etc. Adults €10, kids free. Music is by John Flood with magician Brendan Lamb.
The club held their first show in Mosney in 1985 and this year, to mark the Ford anniversary, there will be an exhibit of Fords from 1915-1998.
All proceeds go to local charities.
Knock Pilgrimage

Was using mobile phone
A MOTORIST who was caught driving while holding a mobile phone to her right ear has been convicted and fined €200.
Svetlana Adam (32) has also been convicted and fined €200 for having no driving licence.
The defendant, of Priest Hill, Collon was observed driving a red BMW by Garda Thomas Canavan at Mell in Drogheda on MAy 18th, 2016.
‘She was holding a mobile phone in her right hand and held it to her right ear,’ Gda Canavan told Drogheda District Court.
He said the defendant nominated Drogheda Garda Station to produce her driving licence at but had failed to do so within the required ten days.
Judge John Coughlan imposed the fines and convictions.
Slane social dancing
Social dancing takes place in Rathkenny Community Centre this Saturday, June 10th, at 9.30pm, music is by Unity.
