Height restriction on Mary St is 4ft!

NEVER mind the controvery over the 4.5m and then the 3m clearance at St Laurences Gate - Mary Street can now beat that!

Anyone over 4ft tall now has to walk on the road to avoid a ‘ tunnel’ that has appeared midway up the street.

An overgrown hedge has almost blocked the pathway, but is proving to be a great source of fun for young childen.

But the stretch is just part of the issues on the street as further down, trees have become heavily overgrown and are dipping onto the street.

The branches on one giant tree have grown so wide, they stretch right across the road.
