Visitor has items recovered after beach theft

A VISITOR from Leicester had a very lucky escape after their car was broken into at Port beach on Friday, around midday.

A rucksack was taken from the vehicle, including camera, passport, travel documents, etc. However, it was discovered a short distance away and the items given back to the tourist.
