TOP NAMES IN TLT CONCERT

AMIE Dyer, widely acclaimed as a future star in the music business, will play the TLT as part of a celebration of local voices on Friday June 16.

The event is part of a fundraiser for the venue, which needs to secure its premises over the coming months.

As part of that campaign, they have introduced a series of projects, aimed at long term ticket sales.

The latest one is an investment of €150 worth of tickets in advance over the next two years.

‘We have various purchase schemes, which we’d love to get support for,’ Tommy Leddy stated.

He said it’s the aim of the TLT to purchase the building in which it is housed but that will need finance.

‘It is an entertainment venue, with music, dance and sports events. It should be here for the people to enjoy.

‘We hope to organise more of these celebrations of local voices as we strive to secure the TLT as a venue,’ Tommy insisted.

The big night on June 16 also features the likes of the Lourdes Brass Band, juniors and seniors, the Drogheda Male Voice Choir, the Orchestral Collective, Timmy Regan and John Moonan with compere Niamh Leddy.

Tickets are €20 from the TLT.
