Slane talks on Francis Ledwidge

Slane History Society are pleased to host two talks during the Francis Ledwidge Centenary Celebrations in Slane.

The first talk will be given by historian Dr. Daniel Cusack “Francis Ledwidge, a Personal Appraisal” on Tuesday 27th June in the Slane Youth Cafe, Chapel St., Slane at 8pm.

The second talk will be given by the Society’s Chairman John Reidy on Thursday 29th June at 8pm in the same venue, the Slane youth Cafe on Chapel St. Slane. His talk is entitled “Agriculture in the Ledwidge Era”

Both talks should be of great interest to all who wish to know enhance their knowledge of our local Poet.
