Tones deserve slice of funding

A COUPLE of weeks ago I did a piece on the Wolfe Tones GAA club and their attempt to secure funding from the Indaver Community Funds to help see the club progress.

Despite being so close to the plant at Carranstown, they didn’t meet the ‘criteria’ it seems.

But with Sean Matthews on their side, don’t bet against the Tones winning this battle, which to me seems very obvious.

They are part of the Legovoureen townland, situated just 2.5k from the plant.

They have written to the council and are willing to meet councillors, anytime, any place.

This one has a long way to go yet.
