Now you see it - and now you don’t!

LOUTH County Council moved quickly to give overgrown bushes on Mary Street a good trim after the Drogheda Independent published images of the street last week.

Within days, overgrown bushes were cut back midway up the street, along with a bush close to the junction with Duleek Street .

It has become so bad, it was impossible for anyone to pass by, forcing people to walk on the road.

However, the street now has a new look.
