‘We need more like Joe Gallagher’

DROGHEDA’S dirty streets need to be properly cleaned up.

‘We must hose them down and then disinfect them,’ Cllr Frank Godfrey told a council meeting.

He said the workers from the council do their best, remarking that ‘Joe Gallagher is one of the most dedicated employees the council have.’

He said the town needed an overhaul with too many derelict buildings being left to decay.
