It’s time to listen to Kenneth Flood

DRIVING down the Termonfeckin Road, I always come across motorists struggling to get out of the Aston Village exit.

At present, there is blue hoarding up, a new development on the way, so surely this is the time to put a roundabout in, as the development takes shape.

Cllr Flood has been thinking the same way and called for a mini roundabout in a written submission to the council last week.

The council reply is that a full study of traffic movements is needed at the location - and there’s no funding.

It is time for a few protests at that junction to sort this out.

It can be crazy here and dangerous and residents should not take this one lying down.

Take part of the corner away and put in a roundabout now, before the chance and land disappears.

Time for action.
