Do Golf Links ramps work?

A QUESTION for those living on the Golf Links Road in Bettystown and perhaps something that might help other communities.

A couple of years ago, the council put down a number of traffic calming tables on the stretch of road at the entrance to the various housing estates.

From what I can see, they work. But do they?
