Larry Kearns is a Slane star

SLANE saw off Castletown by 1-6 to 1-4 in the Meath intermediate football championship at Kilberry on Sunday arternoon.

But before that decision was reached the large attendance witnessed a most interesting sixty minutes of even endeavour in which there were times when it seemed that first one side and then the other would come out on top.

Larry Kearns had a great second half for the winners, and others to shine for them were J. Conmy, P. J, Mooney, T. Johnston, and B. Hand.

Best for Castletown were C. Lynch P. Price, K. Sheridan, J. Farrelly, A. Price and J. McGahon.
