Special Bettystown Blueberry ice cream next on the list for Cool Beanz parlour
BETTYSTOWN Blueberry ice cream is on the way!
The new ice cream parlour in the heart of the coastal village officially opened last Saturday, but has already proved a popular destination since it opened up a few months ago.
With 10/12 staff employed, Cool Beanz hopes the summer season will be a sorcher.
For manager, Colin Breen, the move to Bettystown has been a big success with local businesses getting behind them too.
“I felt Bettystown needed a place like this. While we do ice cream (more than 16 flavours made on site) we also have tea, coffee, pastries, milk shakes, etc’, he explained.
They have also proved to be a popular birthday party location.
Italian experts helped develop their ice cream flavours and they can basically create any flavour out there - or not out there!
Next up is a unique Bettystown Blueberry which the team have started working on after a challenge last Saturday.
