Gavin can’t wait for his big night at Bellewstown
DRAGON and Entrepreneur Gavin Duffy, who is a member of the local Race Committee, and an avid Horse sport fan, now residing not far from the Racecourse, welcomed a fine attendance to the launch of this year’s Bellewstown racing festival.
‘I am lucky enough to have this amazing facility on my doorstep, it is so unique, and so old school, the entertainment and the social element are something to look forward to every year. We want to get more people than ever up here to the Hill of Crockafotha in 2017, to enjoy this spectable,’ he stated at the Highlanes launch.
Gavin is a man of his word, and announced that fellow Dragons Chanelle McCoy, Alison Cowzer and Eleanor McEvoy would be making their way to Bellewstown for the 1st time this year, and would pick the Best Dressed on Friday 7th July.
Manager Kevin Coleman was delighted to see so many in attendance while Chairman Jim Corcoran was upbeat about the 2017 fixtures adding ‘ we are very lucky to have so many loyal sponsors and supporters, but this year we have noticed a big uplift in our Sponsorship and indeed our Corporate Numbers and advanced ticket sales are significantly ahead on last year, which is great to see.’
July Racing is on Thursday 6th (E), Friday 7th (E) and Saturday 8th (E) July 2017
August Racing is Wednesday 30th (E) and Thursday 31st (E) August 2017 .
The organisers expect over 23,000 to attend the race meetings this year while a key factor is corporate entertainment with Silver Service up to 300 per day and Festival Club 400 per day.
