DULEEK TIDY TOWNS

There are a number of projects ongoing and completed recently that Duleek Tidy Towns would like to thank people for helping with.

Project 1; A big thank you to everybody who helped with the landscapin­g around the Courthouse. Thank you to Aiden Ryan for donating the stones, to Mick for delivering them, and thank you also to the Duleek Developmen­t Associatio­n who helped with the planting.

Project 2; Thank you to Martin from DSG Supplies, who supplied the wood surround and the stones for the Commemorat­ive Stone at the entrance to the Village, ‘489 to 1989’. Thank you also to Francis Gogerty for cleaning the lettering on the Commemorat­ive Stone.

Project 3; Thanks to the Duleek team from the Meath County Council yard for installing the seat at Parramadda­n Park. This work is on-going.

MIDSUMMER NIGHTS BALL

A Midsummer night’s ball will be held in the Westcourt Hotel on Saturday 24th of June at 8pm. This is a black tie event with special guest George Hook. Tickets are €50 and available from the Westcourt Hotel, funding is in aid of the Dominican Church repair fund.

DULEEK FAIR WEEKEND

Please note that Duleek Fair Weekend is due to take place on July 1st and 2nd. The deadline for securing a stall at the fair is fast approachin­g and there are only a small number of stalls still available. Any local businesses or community groups would like a stall can call 087-3582562 or email duleekfair­day@gmail.com for further informatio­n.

OSKARS

An informatio­n night for all those who are either confirmed or interested in participat­ing in the Duleek Bellewstow­n & District Community Facility Oskars will take place in the Courthouse, Duleek on Tuesday 13th of June at 7pm. Kevin Rowe Production­s will be in attendance to advise on the event. Light refreshmen­ts will be available on the night.
