COFFEE DAY

The Englishby/Dillion Families are having a Coffee Day in Mattock Rangers pavilion on Saturday June 24th from 10 am till 5 pm in aid of Ardee Hospice and Palliative care. Last year was such a success and gave people a chance to sit and chat with friends and neighbours. So once again if anyone wants to bake, give prize for raffle or just help out on the day it would be greatly appreciate­d. Spread the word please and see everyone on the 24th for what will be another fantastic day.

SUMMER CAMPS 2017 AT THE MATTOCK

The Mattock After-School Club will run their popular summer camps in Mattock Rangers Community Centre, over the following 6 weeks throughout the summer holidays: July 3rd – 7th/ 10th – 14th/17th – 21st /Aug 8th – 11th/14th – 18th/21st – 25th. Age groups 5 – 12 yrs. Camp times are 9.30am to 1.30pm. Cost €65 per week. Mini Summer Camps for pre-school ages will also take place throughout the summer at Little Munchkins, Rathdaniel. CUL CAMP

Mattock Rangers will hold their Annual Cul Camp starting on Monday 24th July and finishing on Friday 28th July. Cost is €60 and involves football, hurling and camogie. This is always a great event in the Summer so make sure you get names down in plenty of time.

BLESSING OF GRAVES

Just a note to mark in your diaries. The Annual Blessing of the graves takes place in Ballapoust­a on Sunday 18th June at 11 am.

MATTOCK LOTTO

The numbers drawn were 3-12-14-27. There was no Jackpot winner so it will be €1,300 this week. There were two Match 3 winners; Mickey & Bernie Nulty and Paul Murphy. Congratula­tions to Mattock Rangers who were the winners of the Paddy Sheelan Cup Final last Tuesday evening. They beat St. Patricks with a final score of 2.11 to 1.11. It was a great win for the Mighty Mattock and wishing the Club the very best in their matches in the season ahead.
