Frank’s great Port idea

A great idea from Cllr Frank Godfrey. The 230th anniversary of the foundation of the Drogheda Harbour Board is just 30 months away and he’d love to see the history of the port detailed in a new book.

He sat on the board for 17 years and feels it has a great history to tell. He says the port is now under the auspicious of the council and feels they should fund the publication.

He’d love to see the story of the building of the viaduct told and the many other tales that exist since 1790.
