Councillor Meade in lucky escape on Oldbridge road

A LOCAL councillor has said that he wants the trees on the stretch of road at Oldbridge inspected by the council after his own close shave last week.

Last Thursday, Cllr Paddy Meade was driving along the stretch when a tree crashed onto the road in front of him.

‘I would have to thank the people in Oldbridge Concrete for their efforts in clearing it,’ he stated.
