Fair Green needs a yield/STOP sign

IF YOU use the Fair Green on a regular basis you’ll recognise the area pictured above and right.

It’s the first junction up as you come from the town side into Trinity Street.

It’s narrow and when you get to the top, you are suddenly in the heart of the Fair Green.

All too often I’ve seen vehicles shoot up this road and fail to stop at the top, almost colliding with cars.

To be fair, there’s no markings at all to tell drivers to yield or stop and that’s the problem.

At least, there are barriers placed in one section that gives some level of safety but that’s not enough.
