Angela Kelly’s Butlin’s days
I came across a great piece on a true organiser called Angela Kelly, a native of 8 Thomas Street in Drogheda.
Angela was chief holiday hostess at Butlin’s Holiday Camp in Pwllheli in North Wales.
She started her career as a Redcoat st Mosney in 1955 and during the winter was based in the head offices on Oxford Street.
After Wales, she became chief holiday hostess at Mosney.
She was voted as the winner of the Butlin’s staff beauty competition in 1959.
