POST OFFICE IN PAT’S CENTRA

Bettystown Post Office has re-opened in Pat’s Centra on the square. This is great news for everyone in the area so please support your local post office.

COPD MEETING

Taking place this Friday 7th July at 2.30p.m. in the Cottage Hospital Drogheda. All welcome. One of the main aims of the Drogheda COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Support Group is to be there for people who may be just coming to terms with their diagnosis and what it might entail and to help them face into the future.

FARMERS MARKETS

Sonairte continue their weekly farmers market each Sunday from 11am. Join us each Sunday, to mix with the locals, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the wide range of stalls, while being amazed at how Organic producers mix well with interesting Irish crafts and Multicultural foods. Make it a day out for the whole family, everyone is welcome.

B–5 BETTYSTOWN 5 MILE

Registration is open for the B-5 sponsored once again by NSP. Taking place on Tuesday 18th July. The race starts at 8pm (walkers start at 7:40) There is a free t-shirt to the first 300 registered. We are giving a fantastic medal to all Finishers. Like last year we are doing all cash prizes to the value of over €2000. We have a special Bring a Buddy Rate of €17.50 each (Individual price is €20). You can learn more and register on www.cillesac.ie

GOLF CLASSIC

East Meath Meals on Wheels Annual Golf Classic takes place on Friday 21st July at Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club. Teams of 4 - €100. All proceeds go towards providing meals in the local area each week. Contact Berna at 086-3844774.
