Updated medical report is ordered by judge

An updated medical report about a woman who was allegedly assaulted by her son’s friend has been ordered ahead of Judge Coughlan deciding whether to hear the case at the district court or send it forward to the circuit.

Elvinas Juodidius, (35), Wood View, Pepperstown, Ardee, is accused of assault causing harm to the woman at ‘The Workshop’, Heynestown, Dundalk on August 27 last year.

Judge Coughlan was handed a medical report about the alleged victim and noted that she had claimed she has back pain radiating down her legs as a result of the alleged assault.

The judge said: ‘We need a fresh medical report about this woman to find out what has take place before we decide jurisdiction’.

The matter was adjourned to September 13.
