Peter Durnin ran his little shop on Oulster Lane

Widespread regret has been occasioned by the death, which took place suddenly, of Mr. Peter Durnin, 2 Oulster Lane, Drogheda, Age 63, he was a well-known shopkeeper in Scarlet Street for the past thirty years. Of a deeply religious disposition, he was a member of the Holy Family Confraternity in St. Peter’s Church. All his life he was a keen fan of the Newtown Blues and Louth G.A.A. teams.
