Dublin Road bridge debate

-

IF we are to accept the word of members of Drogheda Trades Council then the sign which reads 12ft. 6ins. as one aproaches the railway bridge on the Dublin road could mean the width of the road at that point instead of the height of the actual bridge itself.

Members of the Trades council have criticised and complained that the warning signs approaching the bridge are not adequate.

Mr. T. Cunningham said the sign should be more conspicuous. He had seen a cement mixer coming off a lorry there.
