ST. FECHINS LOTTO.
The numbers drawn were 3, 21, 22 and 23. There was no jackpot winner. The €100 winner was Gerry Campbell. Winners of €20 were Mark and Geraldine Foran, Emma Dunne, Geraldine Hughes, John Clayton and Nula Gilles and Eoghan Duffy. The jackpot this week is worth €6,000.
TERMONFECKIN CELTIC FC.
There may be still time to book a place at the FAI Summer Soccer School which takes place in the Termonfeckin Celtic Football Pitch, Sheetland Road from July 17th-21st. It is always a great week of fun for boys and girls aged 6-14 with professional coaches. Bookings must be made through the FAI booking system, no bookings can be made through the club. MONTESSORI.
Pebble Beach Montessori is currently taking bookings for September 2017. Pebble Beach caters for children from 2.5 to 5 years. For more details contact Emma on 087-2885089. Congratulations also to Emma Sloan who runs Pebble Beach Montessori on her recent marriage to George Hoey. The Wedding was in St. Mary’s Church in Castlebellingham on June 9th. SEAPOINT PITCH & PUTT.
The finals of the Seapoint Singles Matchplays took place on Tuesday July 4th. The Open Singles Competition was held over the weekend and were sponsored by Tuites Butchers, Bull Ring, Ballymakenny Road and Laurence St., Drogheda. The Club Doubles and Mixed Doubles Matchplay draws are on the notice board and also on the website. The next rounds in each are to be completed by July 16th. SEAPOINT GOLF CLUB.
This is Open Week at Seapoint Golf Club and a lot is taking place, details as follows. Tuesday July 11th: Men’s Open Singles, Wednesday 12th: 3 Person Team any combination, Thursday 13th: 2 person Team any combination, Friday 14th: Men’s open singles, Saturday 15th: 4 person team any combination, Sunday 16th: 4 person team any combination. Don’t forget the Restaurant is open and can cater for different functions.
ADORATION.
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.
CEMETERY SUNDAY.
Sunday August 13th is the date set for the annual Blessing of the Graves in our Parish. The ceremony in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sheetland Road is at 3pm and the ceremony in the Old Cemetery is at 4pm.
WHIST.
Whist is held on Sunday nights at 8.30pm in Sandpit Hall. If you are a regular player or would like to learn how to play Whist, why not come along? All are welcome.
