The annual Open Singles Strokeplay takes place from this Wednesday 12th July until Sunday 16th July with last card at 5p.m. Prizes for ladies; gents and mixed grades. Refreshments will be available every day. Then on Monday night we have the annual Dee Mills Memorial competition with the Rathfeigh club.
NEW ALL IRELAND CHAMPION!
Our own Cathy Richardson was in blistering form at the finals of the All Ireland Strokeplay Championships at the Cement club. Cathy led by three shots going into the final 18 and then went on to win the event by three shots from Phil Condron. Congratulations Cathy; you were Brilliant!
FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK
The Irish Heart’s Mobile Health Unit (formerly Irish Heart Foundation) is coming to Duleek village on Monday 17th July from 10am-5pm. The unit is travelling around communities in Ireland with trained nurses providing FREE blood pressure checks, and comprehensive lifestyle advice on heart health. Duleek Cardiac First Response Group would encourage you to come along on the day & avail of a FREE blood pressure check. This is a great service being provided free of charge by Irish Heart.
