Seeking speed indicator on the Ballymakenny
ALSO at the July meeting, Councillor Pio Smith asked why the speed indicator on the Ballymakenny Road was not working and if there were any plans to fix or replace it.
Borough Engineer Pat Finn said this was not working because it had been hit a number of times by HGVs.
He said the council have had a quote to replace it but at present they don’t have the funding to be able to do this.
