Public invited to new Slane bypass ‘constraints’ meeting in the Conyngham Arms
THE public are being urged to play a part in the public consultation process with regard to a ‘fresh look’ at the Slane bypass.
Angela Grady from the engineering firm appointed by Meath County Council told last week’s council meeting that the firm were not putting the ‘constraints’ together for the planned route and it is planned to get the public’s views at the Conyngham Arms Hotel on Thursday, July 27th from 2-9pm.
‘ The public can come in and see what we are doing and there will be drawings on display,’ she stated.
A number of aerial views will be available.
‘ There are a lot of cultural and heritage items in the area,’ she continued.
It is hoped that the engineers will be in a position to come back with route options for the bypass by the end of the year.
