PARTY TIME
Does your child want a party? The latest craze is the All Weather Pitch in Clogherhead. It costs only €20 for 1 hour and after the hour you can continue the party there on the pitch or go to the Community Hall where they can run around having great fun in secure, friendly and safe surroundings for only €30 per hour. And then they just flake out with tiredness, happy but tired.

Dreadnots FC have 2 Premium Tickets for U2 show in Croke Park Saturday 22nd July. They are putting them in a raffle with tickets costing only €10. On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July a Church Gate Collection will be taken up at all Masses in Clogherhead and Walshestown in aid of the Ferrard Day Centre. If you would like to help out we would be very grateful. Thank you.
The Blessing of the Graves will take place on Sunday 20th August in The Mullagh at 3 p.m. and St. Dennis’s at 4.30 p.m. Blessing of Fishing Fleet. The Annual Blessing of our Fishing Fleet will be taking place next Sunday 23rd July at 3 p.m. in the Harbour. This is always a great day in Clogherhead with the boats all dressed up in bunting and flags vying for “Best Dressed Boat” and there will also be various competitions and activities on the day at the Pier. Hope to see you all there.

22nd July. Bag Packing in Tesco’s, Donore Road. 6/7th August Church Gate Collection. 11th August. Annual Golf Classic in Seapoint Golf Club. 12th August Annual Car Wash at Station. 1st September. Flag Day, Colpe Cross, Drogheda. 8th September Flag Day in Drogheda. Help is needed on above dates and also in the Lifeboat Shop during the week in July and August. TULLYALLEN CARERS ANNUAL GOLF OUTING.
The Tullyallen Carers Golf Classic is making a return this year and is due to take place Saturday, 2nd September in Townley Hall Golf Club. It is a 4 person team event, open to ladies and gents and costs €100 per team. PARISH NEWS
On Wednesday 26th of July we will celebrate a Mass to help encourage and energize grandparents to share the faith with grandchildren. Mass for the feast say of St. Joachim and St. Anne will be celebrated at 7.30pm. Grandparents are especially welcome to this Mass.
We will hold a Triduum for the Assumption in our church which will also launch our prayer for families in preparation for the forthcoming World Meeting of Families in August 2018 in Dublin. Sunday 13th of August 11 am Mass with blessing of the Sick, Monday 14th of August at 7.30pm. Tuesday 15th of August at 7.30pm with a blessing on families, families are invited to bring a family photo to focus blessing on our families. All are welcome
MEN’S SHED AGM
The Men’s Shed Tullyallen meet up every Tuesday and Friday mornings 10am till 1.00pm. This is open to all men in the Parish and surrounding areas. Everyone has something
to offer the Shed they would be delighted to get new members on board. They are currently in process of obtaining a site for their workshop.
SLIMMING WORLD TIMES
Slimming World have two classes each week on Thursdays. The first class is 5pm and the second is 7pm. Why not head on down to the Glen Emmets Clubrooms and get on the right track.

LOTTO RESULTS
Results for the Glen Emmets Lotto held Tuesday, 11th July 2017. The Grand Prize Draw for €10,000 was held and there was no winner. The numbers drawn were: 19, 20, 24 & 30. The second draw for €1,500 was also held and there was no winner for that draw, the numbers drawn were: 12, 24, 26 & 32. The Lucky dip winners for €25 are as follows: Martin Campbell, Michael Reid, P. Nadine, Tracy Ryan. The Main Jackpot will remain at €10,000 until it is won and the second draw is for €1,600. So when you purchase your lotto ticket, you will now be entered into two draws every week. Tickets are on sale in Mace Tullyallen or any committee member.
