LAFFEY LYNE TRUST Lyme disease is a bacterial

infection that is passed on from infected ticks to humans. Animals like deer, sheep, mice etc are liable to carry these ticks, which are blood suckers, and if the animals which carry these ticks are infected the ticks can pass on the infection to people who may come into contact with the animals.

The Curragh community have set up a trust to raise funds to help two women with the disease, Siobhan and Clodagh, cover the high costs involved in treatment and accommodation while in Germany. The name of the fund is the Laffey Lyme Trust. One can support the girls by making a donation. Bank details for the trust are as follows; Clodagh & Siobhan Laffey Trust, AIB Ashbourne, sort code: 932396 . Account no.: 42768180, BIC: AIBKIE2D IBAN: IE46AIBK93 239642768180.
