Nominees for Louth PPN Awards

-

The Secretariat of the Louth Public Participation Network wishes to recognise and honour the outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals and organisations in County Louth.

This is the second year of the awards which were held in 2016 for the first time.

The Secretariat aims to bring together those individuals and organisations to celebrate the amazing contributions made over the last year and acknowledge this through an evening of food and celebration.

This year there is a new category – Arts & Culture to add to the existing categories of Environment/Animals; Children & Youth; Older Persons and Disability; Ethnic Minorities; Sports; Voluntary Team of the Year; and Outstanding Individual Achievement.

With over 220 groups now registered in Louth PPN please make sure that individuals and groups in your community receive the acknowledgement that they deserve.

Please submit your nomination via the nomination form in your local paper or contact Mary Capplis, PPN Resource Worker on mary.capplis@louthcoco.ie

Louth PPN is the framework for citizen engagement and participation and is the main link for the community and voluntary sector to connect with the Local Authority. It provides an opportunity for community groups to avail of training, to network, to share information and learn from other groups in your area. Your PPN Representatives are the voice of the community at local decision making level. Further information on Louth PPN is available on www.louthppn.ie.
