Nine new jobs to be created in town

Local company Osborne Recruitmen­t has announced it will create 9 new jobs in its office in Drogheda.

The company plans to create 15 new jobs in total. The announceme­nt took place at Osborne’s quarterly company meeting at The Black Bull in Drogheda recently. Commenting at the quarterly meeting, Shona McManus, CEO of Osborne, said: ‘Over the past two years, Osborne Drogheda has gone from strength to strength, and today I am delighted to announce that we will move some of our shared office functions, including my office, to the Drogheda branch.

Following the quarterly meeting, Shona McManus welcomed distinguis­hed local guests to join the team at a reception to mark the company’s success.

Those in attendance included Deputy Mayor Richie Culhane, as well as a number of local government representa­tives; TDs, Fergus O’Dowd and Declan Breathnach, and Senator, Ged Nash.
