Fist fight on Shop Street

NOT something you expect to see at 11.05am on a Friday morning on a busy street.

Yet, there it was unfolding on Bachelors Lane, right beside the Augustinian Church, two men slugging it out - well, one at least as he was landing blows on the second man as he lay on the ground.

Thankfully, it ended quite quickly and the two parties parted, but not a sight for young and old to have to see in the centre of Drogheda.
