Laura Heavey is young swim ace

AUGUST 1973: One of the youngest ever contestants to pass a water safety test in this area is Laura Heavey, Slane. Eightyear old Laura successfully took part in the Irish Water -Safety Association’s Life Saving Week in Gormanston, at which a total of 42 water tests and 27 resuscitation tests were held.
