Eugene made a big impact

SYMPATHY was extended to the family of the former chairman of Duleek Bellewstown GAA, Eugene Geraghty (pictured), at the last Laytown/Bettystown area council meeting.

Cllr Stephen McKee said the late Eugene had made an enormous contribution to the entire community.

Meanwhile, Councillors also has praise for the likes of Orla and Kate Byrne from Meath GAA, those behind the Ledwidge festival of events, Sophie Gough and the Blue Jeans festival, Rachel Eagleton and Meath juniors’ Dara Rowe.
