Pride Festival on August 11-13th

Drogheda Pride Festival will take place in the town from 11th -13th August, with the theme of inclusion in the community.

Friday 11th sees the opening of Pride at Millmount where raising the Pride flag , readings and opening ceremony will begin at 12 noon. Family fun day takes place in the Barbican centre at 1pm to 4pm. This event is free to attend. Warming up with pride begins at Weavers bar where a band and DJ perform from 8pm till late.

Saturday 12th is the main day, starting off with Pride breakfast at Stockwell artisan foods, Stockwell street from 10am to 12 noon

There is also promotion awareness of Drogheda LGBTQ Group in different locations around West street. Main event kicking off at 8pm in McHugh’s Venue with ringmaster of Drag Race, the fabulous Paul Ryder and drag queen Sophia Harte on stage. DJ Caroline Gormley on the decks till late .Music by Matthew Nolan.

Sunday 13th sees a wind down with a BBQ in odd mollies/ Clarke’s bar from 8.30pm.
