Arrangemen­ts confirmed for Under-16 Reilly finals

MEATH take on Monaghan in the Gerry Reilly U-16 Football Tournament Cup Final at Millbrook, Oldcastle, next Sunday at 7pm.

Both counties have qualified for the final unbeaten and Meath have recorded impressive scores in their victories over Longford, Louth and Laois. Monaghan, on the other hand, had narrow wins against Wicklow, Dublin and Westmeath.

Meath, who were Plate winners in 2016, haven’t had outright success in the competitio­n since 2007.

Louth take on Wicklow in the Shield decider on Saturday at 3pm, while Dublin and Laois meet in the Plate final also on Saturday at 7pm. Both games are in Millbrook.
