THE LATE MRS. ROSE EVERITT

Collon and surrounding areas were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Rose Everitt (nee Martin) Carraickmagough Kells Road recently. Rose was an absolutely lady who always had time and a smile for everyone.

She was a very loyal Mattock Rangers supporter and the Club formed a Guard of Honour at her funeral. She also loved to travel. Rose had great faith and she would always greet you with that warm smile from her usual seat in the Church at Sunday Mass. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and would recall many stories for her family.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Tom, son Pat and daughter in law Nora. She is survived by her daughters Olive, Jacinta, Marian, Monica and Gabrielle; son Tom; sons in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchild and all extended family members. The huge numbers that attended her wake and funeral showed the huge respect and love that everyone had for Rose. Sincere sympathy is sent to all her family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
