CHARITY GOLF DAY

Bellewstow­n Golf Club are running a Charity’ Fun Day this Saturday 29th July to raise funds for Jack and Jill Foundation. Last year we had a very successful

And enjoyable day and raised €5,000. All funds are used within the County, to provide care for children with life limiting diseases.

The event will be a 3/person Scramble; €60euro per team. You can book on line with Tee times from 10am to 5pm. Presentati­on of prizes, and draw for great raffle prizes at 9 pm in Club House.

Members travelled to Bellewstow­n for the annual Dee Mills Memorial competitio­n last week and had a very successful evening. Joan Caffrey was the runner up with her Bellewstow­n partner Leo Gibney. Billy Cleary was 3rd with his partner Colm Hanley and Stephen Lynch was also in the winners’ circle with his Bellewstow­n partner. Afterwards all enjoyed a lovely supper to end off the evening with presentati­on of prizes. Joan Caffrey was also in the winning mode when she and her team, Ann Nugent, Kathleen Geraghty and Margaret McTigue, qualified for the All Ireland ICA P & P competitio­n with finals to be played in September at the Seapoint course in Termonfeck­in.
