Butterfly shop is a little gem

I HAVE to give a mention to the great people in Butterfly in Stockwell Street (pictured)

It’s a charity shop aligned to the Womens and Children’s Refuge.

They have a great display at the moment, highlighti­ng their range of bridal and graduation dresses.

The centre provides an invaluable service for women and children suffering from homelessne­ss and domestic abuse.

They need people to not only shop in Butterfly, but also to donate any good quality, preloved clothes, accessorie­s and bric-a-brac to sell in the shop.

Presiding over the meeting, Mrs. J. Velzeboer said that it was not essential to be a very good gardener to become a member of the Society, and neither was it necessary to have a garden at all. ‘ The club
