Big fashion show for Ablevision at the Westcourt

-

THE ABLEVISION Charity show takes place in the Westcourt Hotel, Drogheda, on Sunday 24th September from 3pm- 5pm.

It promises to be a fun afternoon when the models have the opportunity to strut their stuff on the cat walk.

Models, Megan, Nessa, Conor, and Brendan are looking forward to modelling in the Fashion Show and the organisers are looking for others of all abilities to help out on the day as models, or with make-up, hair, and sponsorship of the event.

Orlaith Carmody will be the compere on the night. They will have short musical and dancing acts during the afternoon and a raffle will be held during the break.

All funds raised will go directly to Ablevision, a charity with a track record over the last number of years in providing film and video production training for people with Intellectual Disabilities. Training takes place in the Barbican Centre in Drogheda in an atmosphere that is fun, creative and empowering.

Recently their work was highlighted on RTE’s Nationwide when they visited the set of their latest film “Looking for Love” which has been entered into the Oska Bright Film Festival in Brighton in November.

‘We would love to hear from you if you can help in any way,’ a spokesperson stated.

Please contact them by phone / text Audrey 0860537177 & Patricia 0868047691 or by email John@ ablevisionireland.com.
