Club volunteers were involved in a general tidy up around the pitch at John Markey Park on Saturday morning from 9 for a few hours. They tidied up outside club rooms, trimmed the laurel hedge, strimmed grass and lifted stones from area below stand, spread stone in a few areas around walkway that have settled. They also put up of signage around pitch. Thank you on behalf of the Development Committee to everyone who helped out. Significant progress has also taken place in the last number of weeks on the new training field at John Markey Park. The new training pitch which was levelled last year has now been drained and sowed with grass seeds. The new floodlights have been erected and the poles for the ball stops have been erected also. The photos say it all! Many thanks to all volunteers who have helped with the development so far. We hope to have the field ready to use by summer 2018 when the grass has properly bedded in.

Supporter’s of the club can now buy club gear directly from the O’Neills website.
