DEREK Duff accounted for half of Drumconrat­h’s scores as the north Meath side upset the odds in the Junior A FC at Carlanstow­n.

Duff hit four points in the opening half as Drumconrat­h led 0-9 to 0-5 at the break, with Paul Tighe having been denied with two goal attempts in the second quarter.

The Drumconrat­h advantage stretched to 10 points at one stage and Tomás Conlon, Daniel Byrne and Paul Tighe also starred.
