DEREK Duff accounted for half of Drumconrath’s scores as the north Meath side upset the odds in the Junior A FC at Carlanstown.
Duff hit four points in the opening half as Drumconrath led 0-9 to 0-5 at the break, with Paul Tighe having been denied with two goal attempts in the second quarter.
The Drumconrath advantage stretched to 10 points at one stage and Tomás Conlon, Daniel Byrne and Paul Tighe also starred.
