Eanna in Dunleer nature talk
NATIONAL Heritage Week 2017 runs from Saturday 19th August to Sunday 27th August. Nature is at the forefront of this year’s theme and with this in mind, Dunleer and District Historical Society have invited Eanna Ni Lamhna to give a talk/ presentation on Monday 21st August at 6.30pm.
Eanna is one of the best known environmental figures in Ireland and in 2012 was listed as one of the country’s “influential 100 “people. She is a qualified biologist and has appeared on numerous television and radio shows including “Mooney Goes Wild “, “The Late Late Show” and “The Six O Clock Show”. Eanna is also the author of a number of books on wildlife. A fluent Irish speaker, Eanna is from Stabannon.
